Do you have Work/life balance fomo?
Do you find yourself wondering… what are successful working mothers doing that I’m not? Is everyone as exhausted as I am? Will I ever feel like I can catch up?
Here’s a secret: EVERY single woman I’ve worked with faces these problems, and there’s no magic pill to make everything perfect. But there are ways to reclaim your time, focus on the things that matter most to you, and feel connected to your work and family.
If you’re ready to transform your relationship with work, and have more sustainable work/life balance, keep reading.
The week of Jan. 20, I’m launching Propel Yourself, a 4-week Balance Challenge designed to help ambitious moms align their values, reclaim their time, and create a life they love. Several women in leadership positions have already signed up - get your spot now.
Why take a course from me? I’m Mary Sheehan, mom of two young kiddos, with a full-time job as a marketing leader (previously at Google and now Adobe) and time for passion projects. After years of overwork and burnout, I transformed my life into one where I thrive professionally and personally—and I’m here to help you do the same.
Through this focused program, I’ll lead you on how to:
Make decisions based on your core values
Define meaningful goals
Reclaim your time and energy
If you’re ready to break free from overwhelm and start living with intention, this challenge is for you.
I was a workaholic / play-aholic pre-kids.
I was a workaholic and, if I’m honest, a play-aholic before I had kids. I realized I couldn’t sustain this and be the person burning the candle at both ends if I wanted to be successful. Once I made the mental shift, I became more productive than ever.
Sound like you? You're not alone.
✓ You’re often eating lunch in front of your computer
✓ You feel guilty about taking any time for yourself to fill your cup
✓ In a given year, you focus on too many things to get anything meaningful done
✓ You have trouble “finding your people” (other ambitious moms) at your job
✓ You feel like there is a “secret sauce” that successful people in your network have that you don’t
✓ You have zero energy at the end of the day to do anything but flop on the couch and watch Netflix
✓ You’re great at starting things outside work, but can rarely finish them
✓ When you’re with your kids after work, you feel compelled to check Slack and email
the frustrating truth: most women don’t invest in themselves.
Men are much more likely to invest in coaching, self-improvement, and learning for themselves than women. UGH. I wish this wasn’t true - and I’m trying to help change that narrative.
I know how it is - I used to stress before spending any money on my professional self-improvement, even though I wouldn’t blink at spending the same amount at Costco. But then I realized I’m only going to succeed if I invest in myself.
When I made that switch about 5 years ago, I started investing in coaching, masterminds, courses, anything I could get my hands on to improve my professional skills and relationship with work. However, I noticed a gap in the market.
I’ve created this program because there wasn’t anything else that addressed success at both work and home.
What I’m sharing is tried and true frameworks to help you transform your relationship with work and life, for about the cost of weekly groceries - just $247.
over the last year, i’ve worked with over a dozen ambitious women to help them achieve their goals.
It’s been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and now I want to share this with even more women! This challenge is built on a few things that I know to be true:
Redefining your relationship with work after having children is critical to achieve what you’re looking for.
Aligning your values to your decisions gives you a new degree of freedom.
Saying “No” more helps you open up space to say yes to the things that align.
Setting (and maintaining!) boundaries is a key way to establish work-life balance.
You can’t pour from an empty cup. As moms, when we shut down, our world shuts down.
over trying to “do it all?” i’ve got you.
This 4-week challenge provides the tools and mindset shifts to create a lasting system for balance, success, and fulfillment. This program is designed to be flexible and efficient - something that working moms can stick with,
Here’s how it works:
REAL conversations: Every week, we’ll gather for a 45-minute live Zoom session to dive deeper into that week’s theme. (will also be available on demand).
Daily mini-excercises: Each day, you’ll receive a short email with actionable insights and a mini-assignment. These are designed to take 10 minutes or less to complete.
Group accountability and prompts: Celebrate your wins and commiserate on your struggles with a group of like-minded women in our private Slack community.
Actionable toolkits: Walk away with frameworks that you can immediately put into action.
Mindful tools: Whether it’s 5 deep breaths, visualizations, or building a meditation practice, we’ll explore the best mindful tips together.
what to expect:
Week 1: Building Your Foundation with Values
Week 2: Managing Your Time & Energy
Week 3: Career Growth with Clarity
Week 4: Cultivating Long-Term Balance
this has worked for real moms in tech
Don't Let Fear Hold You Back.
Do you need to sign up for a program to achieve your goals eventually? No, you can do it alone - but it might take YEARS. Six months from now, will you be stuck in the same place? This isn't just a course, it's a chance to reclaim your life and embrace a future filled with purpose and joy. This program offers not just content, but also accountability.
Transform your work/life balance in 30 days.
learn from my mistakes
I’ve been where you are. When I became a mom, I was forced to hang up my workaholic hat. I couldn't work the hours I used to, and I felt like I lost my edge. I had no time or energy for my friends or my husband. I barely had time to take a shower!
Transforming your life isn’t a one-time “set it and forget it.” I’ve had major ups and downs when life and work balance is laughable. I’ve had to reset myself using this program many times - that’s how I know this system works. I created Propel Yourself because I believe in the transformative power of personal growth, and I want nothing more than to see you thrive. I hope you’ll join me!
Questions? i have answers.
Q: WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
A: min 45/week for video session for 4 weeks. This will kick off mid-January.
Q: Why are you charging for this?
A: My time is valuable, and yours is too! This is a culmination of all of my best knowledge and tried and true practices. I’m spending my valuable time on this, and I think every woman should be paid for their time! As mentioned above, the price is the lowest it will ever be for this program.
Q: Do I have to attend every session?
A: Like most things, you’ll get what you put in! I’ve culled down the content to ensure it’s the most relevant, compelling content possible. Of course - it’s your time! - but I recommend attending all that you can.
Q: WHAT’s the payoff?
A: After 4 weeks, I can assure you that you will feel more balanced, and be able to make better choices that align to your values, or you will get a full refund.
Q: do I have to be a mom?
A: Absolutely not, but this program is tailored for those transitioning back to work in early motherhood, or learning the strategies to put into place before they start a family.
Q: i know you from product marketing… is this A product marketing course?
A: Like most things in my life, I like to “PMM it!” So you will see lots of frameworks, PMM-isms, and PMM moms in this group. But no, this is not specifically about product marketing :)
